Recruiting motivated and caring Staff Nurses, with previous experience working in a high dependency or special care baby unit, to join our busy Neonatal Unit.

 

Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust is an acute teaching hospital with 2,800 staff, located in Zone 2, South West London. The Trust is also one of London’s largest providers of children’s services, caring for more than 8,000 children as inpatients and more than 30,000 as outpatients every year.
Opportunities have arisen for motivated and caring Staff Nurses, with previous experience working in a high dependency or special care baby unit, to join our busy Neonatal Unit. The Unit is a perinatal referral centre, consisting of 38 cots, 12 of which are designated for Neonatal medical and surgical intensive care, with in-utero and post natal transfers from throughout the south east of England.
 
This role entails providing full nursing care including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation for High Dependency and Special Care babies and their families, with the support of our trained neonatal nurses. This is a development post, designed to provide an individual pathway to qualified neonatal nurse status. The successful candidate will be expected to work for a further 6-12 months gaining tertiary level Neonatal Nursing skills, prior to undertaking an intensive care course.

Geneva Health is working in partnership with the Trust to recruit a number of experienced Australian/NZ NICU Nurses for permanent positions within the Trust.

Salary range:

£21,176 - £27,534 + the High Cost Living Allowance (20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,036 and a maximum payment of £6,217)

Registration & Immigration

To work in the UK you will need to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK and if you don't hold a British or European Union passport then you will need a work permit. Geneva Health and Chelsea & Westminster hospital can assist you with this.
