Neuroscience Nurses needed in London
The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery provides
the most advanced and comprehensive range of neuroscience clinical
services throughout Europe. In partnership with University College
London's Institute of Neurology, they have the largest
translational academic stroke programme in London and one of the
largest in Europe. The NHNN is one of the top three centres
in the world for neurology, translating this unrivalled
excellence to the quality and care of all stroke patients in the
sector.
At present the NHNN are working in partnership with Geneva
Health to recruit a number of experienced nurses
for a brand new state of art Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) and
in-patient services throughout the hospital. Many members of the
team rotate between the HASU, medical specialties and the stroke
unit to enable all staff to develop and maintain a broad skill
set.
The acute service consists of five beds at the moment and is
planned to be fully operational with the designated 18 beds in the
very near future.
Although Neuroscience experience is desirable, general acute
care experience will be considered if you are looking to further
your career within a neuroscience setting.
