Overseas Nursing Programme
For overseas applicants interested in nurse
employment in the UK, who are not from within the European
Union, a pre-requisite to getting your Nursing and Midwifery
Council (NMC) registration is the completion of the 20 days
Overseas Nursing Programme (ONP) and in some
circumstances a period of supervised practice.
Unfortunately Geneva Health are unable to help those
who require supervised practice. However our international nurse
recruitment specialists can assist in arranging the ONP. In many
instances, future employers will re-imburse you for the cost of the
ONP, or offer financial support towards the cost. Generally this
costs approximately £350, but can cost up to £1500 if a period of
