Geneva Health has a specialist agency division providing nurses
and care assistants on an 'as required' basis to hospitals and
other health employers. This service is available 24 hours a
day, seven days a week.
All Geneva Health's staff are fully screened and recruited by an
experienced Recruitment Consultant to meet the highest standards of
quality and care provision.
The Geneva agency team has specialist Recruitment Consultants
and trained Nurses looking after candidate sourcing, recruitment,
client management and booking shifts for each sector. There are
also After Hours Consultants providing a round the clock
service.
Geneva Nurses are all NMC registered and their training and
occupational health needs are monitored constantly. They undergo
regular appraisals and quality control monitoring.
Geneva Health is a National Framework approved, and a Care
Quality Commission registered nursing agency, and is therefore
audited regularly to ensure rigorous standards are
maintained. Geneva Health is also registered with the UKHCA
and the REC.
All these processes are in place to protect the needs of
patients and ensure that Geneva candidates and service standards
are of the highest order.
Ensuring Quality
As part of Geneva Health International's commitment to providing
outstanding service to both our staff and clients, we continually
review our service standards and performance. This is monitored
both internally and externally on a quarterly basis.

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is conducted by a trained Geneva
Consultant. All candidates are interviewed by a Geneva Consultant,
at least twice prior to a candidate commencing an assignment.
Documentation
All original documentation as described below (but not exclusive
of) is sighted before a candidate is placed on assignment.
Candidates are required to produce and complete the following
documentation.
- Application form and Curriculum Vitae
- Statement of entry and Pin card (NMC)
- Photographic ID and Passport
- Work visa or Work permit if required
- Completed Statutory training courses
- Immunisation / Occupational Health Clearance
- Inland Revenue forms
- Geneva Working Time directive Opt out form
- Geneva Skills Sheets
Also retained to their files:
- Two clinical written references from their most recent
employment
- Record of Interview
- Country of origin police check - if required and proof of UK
Criminal Records Bureau CRB Disclosure.
