How to join our agency
Geneva Health have professional, experienced recruiters to
facilitate your registration. If you have current
NMC registration, this will speed up the process of
finding you registered nurse jobs in the UK.
We will need to you to either register on the Geneva Health UK
Website or to contact a Recruitment Consultant directly to go
through the registration process.
As part of your registration you will meet with us for a face to
face interview, we will create a timeline together, setting dates
for various tasks to be completed by yourself and your Geneva
Consultant, to ensure that you can start working as soon as
possible.
The tasks that the timeline will cover are; Training;
Documentation; Occupational Health Screen; Your Proposed Induction;
and Your Proposed First Shift. Each of these aspects will be
discussed in depth during your interview and you will be told
exactly what is required at that point.
Documentation
We require certain documentation from you, (as detailed below)
to commence your employment with Geneva Health UK; please bring
these original documents to your interview as applicable.
- Up to date CV
- NMC PIN Card
- NMC Statement of Entry
- Bachelor of Nursing Certificate
- Post Graduate Certificates if applicable
- Passport
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK including your letter
from the home office if you received one.
- Second form of ID such as a drivers licence or birth
certificate
- Any other relevant training certificates
- Occupational health documentation as stated on the form
attached
- Previous CRB if issued within the last 6 months
- Debit Card
United Kingdom Police Check (Criminal Records
Bureau)
We will arrange for you to complete a UK Criminal Records Bureau
(CRB) enhanced disclosure form at your interview.
This is compulsory for all nurses to obtain a clear UK CRB enhanced
disclosure whether or not you have lived in this country
previously, prior to commencing work Please note under
UK legislation, you won't be authorised to work until the
clear CRB check has been received.
Once this information has been received, including suitable
clinical references and Occupational Health Clearance we will then
be able to assist you with work.
Overseas applicants with Geneva Health
Our application for our overseas candidates is much the same as
our UK candidate registration in terms of compliance, however we
will assist our international candidates in their Nursing and
Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process. Once you have
registered with Geneva Health UK and spoken to one of our
Recruitment Consultants there are still a few things that you need
to do in order to help us, help you, before you arrive in the UK.
Don't forget we will be in contact with you during the whole
process.
- Complete our Candidate Application Form and send this to your
Geneva Consultant, along with a copy of your current Curriculum
Vitae.
- Apply for your registration with the NMC. To ensure a smooth
process please maintain regular contact to monitor your
registration status.
- Start the process of setting up your UK Bank Account as this
will ensure you have access to your funds on arrival.
Everything else will be managed by our knowledgeable and
